As we spearhead this revolution, we're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Frontend Engineer (React native) to join our team. This individual will work alongside our CTO to build a one-of-a-kind, deeply intuitive, AI powered, consumer-focused, mobile app.
Key Responsibilities
Frontend Mobile App Development
Design, build, and maintain the frontend of our mobile consumer app, ensuring an intuitive and delightful user experience.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with our CTO, backend developers, and designers to ensure our application aligns with our vision and provides a seamless user experience.
Code Review and Quality Assurance
Review code, maintain high coding standards, and perform testing to ensure our application is bug-free.
Mentorship
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior frontend developers.
Product Innovation
Stay informed about the latest trends in frontend development and suggest innovative solutions to improve our application.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 6+ years experience developing user interfaces with web technologies, of which, at least 3 years should be spent working with mobile development in a high profile environment, like a well funded consumer start or scale up, a top tier digital agency, or a global love brand.
- Extensive knowledge of, and experience with modern frontend technologies and app development frameworks.
- Proven experience using react.js/ReactNative with one or more state management frameworks (e.g. Redux, MobX, etc.)
- Experience in building mobile applications with a strong focus on user experience and design. Demonstrated ability to create intuitive, user-friendly mobile applications.
- Experience implementing motion graphics within mobile applications to enhance user experience.
- Understanding of backend development and ability to work effectively with backend developers.
- Strong problem-solving skills, deep attention to detail, and a passion for creating user-centric designs.
- A passion for climate tech and sustainability and a deep drive to use your talent to be part of the solution.
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
